Do we have to use the grant money right away?
Your organization should plan to implement the program or project within 12 months of receiving funds.
What if our organization does not utilize the funds within 12 months of receiving the grant or would like to use them for a different project or program due to unforeseen circumstances?
If your organization does not utilize the funds within the 12-month time frame, they can fill out this form requesting a rollover of funds or a reallocation of funds. Requests will be reviewed and voted on by the MCF Board.
Who reviews the grants and makes the decisions?
The MCF Board of Directors will review each application thoroughly and a majority vote decides the grantees.
I run a non-profit in Tennessee, can I apply for a grant?
