Your adventure begins aboard the iconic Elephant Express, an open-air safari railcar that winds through Hwange National Park. Spend four nights at the elegant Camelthorn Lodge, your base for immersive safari days led by some of Zimbabwe’s top guides – the best on the continent. From cheetahs and lions to massive elephant herds, you’ll explore Hwange by vehicle, foot, and hidden blinds for thrilling, up-close wildlife sightings. Sable, buffalo, giraffe, and zebra abound with lucky spottings of wild dog or leopard.

The highlight of this adventure is a visit to the Ngamo Wildlife Sanctuary to meet Thuza and Kusasa, the first white rhinos reintroduced to Hwange in over 20 years.
